Kipori Safari is family owned and operated. Our small team helps minimize expenses so that our clients get the most value for their money.

 

Simon Zacharia is the managing director and lead driver at Kipori Safari. Simon grew up in Ng'urdoto village in the Mt. Meru region of Tanzania. He attended Ilkiding'a Secondary School and Bram's Vocational Center and Rural College where he studied tourism and became fluent in Spanish. Before starting Kipori Safari simon worked in the tourism industry in Tanzania for nine years as a guide, driver, and tour coordinator. He has also served as a liaison for a number of local development projects in the Kilimanjaro and Ngorongoro regions.

 

Veronica Simon is Simon's wife and the office manager at Kipori Safari. She is finishing her degree in secretarial studies at Moshi Technical College.

 

We also work with a number of local guides and cooks on a freelance basis. We work repeatedly with the same drivers and cooks to ensure that we maintain the highest levels of service quality.
